To clean the board after use we recommend washing it with a mild detergent in warm water and then to towel dry. To extend the products life and natural beauty you can periodically wipe it with a food safe mineral oil. Similar to its maple counterpart, we advise against letting it soak or using it in a dishwasher.

Bamboo is an enduring, fast growing truly renewable resource which needs no replanting.
It is a high-yielding, economically responsible, replacement for wood and petroleum based products. It has an amazingly short growth cycle, some species can grow up to 3 feet per day. and it can be harvested in 3-5 years versus 15-20 which is typical for many hardwoods. Unlike most other hardwoods, bamboo absorbs very little moisture and consequently does not shrink or swell as much, making it a superior choice of material for cutting boards.
